Yes - we do offer show plates, but its important to understand the difference between road-legal plates and show plates.
Road-legal plates : must follow strict DVLA and British Standard (BS AU 145e) regulations, includiing correct font, size, spacing, reflective material, supplier details, and the BS mark. These are the plates you use on your vehicle when driving on public roads.
Show plates : Are made for OFF-ROAD USE ONLY - for example at car shows, exhibitions, private land, photo shoots, or as decorative display plates. Show plates allow for more customisation, such as different fonts, colours, sizes, logos, or spacing that would not be permitted on the road.
IMPORTANT NOTICE : Show plates are not road legal. They cannot be used while driving on UK roads, and doing so may result in fines, penalty points, or your vehicle failing its MOT.
We take pride in providing high-quality, made-to-order number plates that comly with DVLA regulations. Because each plate is custom-manufactured to your specifications, our refund policy is designed to balance customer satisfaction with legal compliance and production realities.
Made-to-order items : All plates are produced specifically for the details you provide at checkout. We CANNOT accept returns or offer refunds for plates that have been correctly made according to your order, Including road-legal plates, personalized plates or custom show plates.
Cancellations : Order can only be cancelled before production begins. Once production starts, cancellation is not possible.
It is essential to DOUBLE-CHECK all details before confirming your order, as we cannot reverse plates once production has started.
Ceramic coating is a high-quality protective layer applied to our number plates to enhance durability, appearance and longevity. It is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds with the plates surface, creating a hard, transparent layer that acts as a shield against environmental damage.
Why we apply ceramic coating to our plates:
Protection from UV Damage - Over time the suns ultraviolet rays can cause fading and discoloration on acrylic plates. Ceramic coating protects the reflective background and the black characters, keeping your plate looking vibrant and sharp for years.
Resistance to dirt, grime and corrosion - Ceramic coated plates repel dirt, water and road grime more effectively than plates without ceramic coating. This makes cleaning easier and reduces the risk of corrosion from salts, chemicals or harsh weather.
Scratch and abrasion resistance - The hard surface provided by ceramic coating protects against minor scratches and scuffs that can occur during fitting or everyday use.
Enhanced longevity - Standard un-coated plates may start to degrade or lose their reflective quality within a few years. Plates treated with ceramic coating maintain their road-legal quality, reflectivity and overall appearance for much longer, often doubling the effective lifespan of the plate.
Improved aesthetics - Ceramic coated plates have a clean, glossy finish that enhances the overall look of your vehicle while maintaining full compliance with DVLA standards.
*By applying ceramic coating, our number plates are more durable, weather resistant, easier to maintain, and longer lasting than standard un-coated plates. Its an investment in both protection and appearance, ensuring your plates stay legalling compliant and visually sharp for many years.
